Psalm 89:34 - "My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.
The Tithe
First Fruits
Alms
Seed
The Motivations and Blessings of Each:
The Tithe (Malachi 3:10-11) - The tithe is holy and belongs to God; the motivation for tithing is "Obedience." The tithe is the divine connector to the blessing where God promises to "Rebuke" the devourer for your sake so that the devourer does not destroy and eat up your harvest (the fruit of your ground), which is proof positive of the curse that comes with taking what belongs to God and using it for other things or your consumption.
However, the blessings of tithing will cause depression and recession to bypass you, and it keeps the windows of Heaven open to you so that you are not affected by adversities that affect others, costing them financially.
Malachi 3:10-11 NKJV
10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of Hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.
11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts;
2. First Fruit (Nehemiah 10:35/ Proverb 3:9-10) -The motivation for the First Fruit offering is "Generosity." This offering is given to God and shows Him that you are not in love with money and He can trust you. There are over 30 references in the Bible regarding First Fruits.
"And, to bring the first fruits of our ground and the first fruits of all your trees, year by year, unto the house of the Lord." -Nehemiah 10:35
Proverb 3:9-10 KJV
9 Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
Example of First Fruits: If you get a raise of $50 at the beginning of the year, that first $50 should be given to the Lord. You only do this once at the beginning of the year. It shows God your gratitude for the yearly increase. It is also an expression of your love for His Word.
3. Alms (Matthew 6:1-2/Proverbs 19:17) -The motivation for giving Alms is "Compassion." It's giving to those in need, and it is done secretly to protect the dignity of the person(s) being helped in their crisis.
The rate of exchange for almsgiving is reimbursement; the amount you have given will be returned to you. "He who pities the poor lends to the Lord, and He will pay back what he has given." -Proverbs 19:17
4. The Seed and The Lord's Increase (Mark 4:8/ Luke 6:38/ Deuteronomy 1:11) -The motivation for the Seed Offering is "Faith and Reward." Here is where the rate of exchange the Lord promises is a yield or return of 30, 60, 100, 1,000 fold on the investment of the seed sown.

This message is infinitely valuable to me. The Lord has been revealing the principles and secrets of giving to me over the last few years and the wisdom in this teaching had the missing pieces to a revelation that has been unfolding since 2017. I pray that the Lord takes me even deeper still. I so love the depths of His revelation.
